Looking to keep their lengthy winning streak alive, the Toronto Raptors are set as opening road betting favourites on the NBA odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com for Wednesday night as they take on the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center.

Toronto ran its winning streak to 15 games on Monday night with a 137-126 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves as 8.5-point home favourites at betting sites. The Raptors have covered the spread 10 times during their 15-game winning streak, and in four of their last six outings. Overall the Raptors are 31-23 ATS on the season and 14-12 ATS on the road.

Pascal Siakam poured in a team-high 34 points for Toronto in its win over Minnesota, while Kyle Lowry was good for 27 points and 11 assists, and OG Anunoby picked up 25 points and 12 rebounds. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (21 points) and Fred VanVleet (16 points) also scored in double-digits. Marc Gasol (hamstring) and Serge Ibaka (illness) sat out Monday’s game.

The Raptors’ victory over the Timberwolves followed up a win against the Nets at home on Saturday as six-point betting favourites. VanVleet had 29 points for Toronto that day, with Siakam and Terence Davis scoring 20 points apiece, and Lowry sitting out. Brooklyn got a game-high 37 points from Caris LeVert in that losing cause. Kyrie Irving has been out of action for the Nets since Feb. 1 due to a knee injury.

Overall the Raptors are 9-1 straight up and 5-5 ATS over their last 10 games against the Nets according to the OddsShark NBA Database, going 6-0 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six games versus Brooklyn dating back to last January. The OVER has paid off on the betting totals in the last two games between the teams, and in six of their last 10 meetings.

Brooklyn sits four games under .500 on the season and at 25-27 ATS, but is coming off a 106-105 upset win over the Indiana Pacers on Monday night as 6.5-point road underdogs. The Nets have actually won five of their last seven games, covering the spread six times.

The Raptors’ winning streak has them in the second tier of contenders at +750 on the odds to win the Eastern Conference this season, behind the heavily-favoured Milwaukee Bucks at -185. The Nets sit in a playoff spot in the East, but trail at +6600 on the conference odds.
