Raptors’ Fred VanVleet exits exhibition game with ‘banged left knee’

Toronto Raptors' Fred VanVleet goes down after what appears to be a knee-on-knee collision against the Portland Trail Blazers in Sunday night's exhibition match.

Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet exited Sunday’s exhibition game against the Portland Trail Blazers with a “banged left knee,” the team announced.

VanVleet appeared to be limping on his way to the locker room after attempting to take a charge in the first quarter. He had one assist and one rebound in five minutes before his departure.
