The Toronto Raptors will be looking to extend their recent dominance over the Philadelphia 76ers when they host their division rivals on Wednesday night as 6-point favourites on the NBA odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Toronto has picked up the straight-up win in 19 of its last 21 dates with Philadelphia, including victories in 12 straight meetings on home court, ahead of Wednesday night’s Sixers versus Raptors matchup at Scotiabank Arena.

The Raptors have simply outclassed the Sixers during the home win streak, claiming victory by an average margin of 17.6 points, capped by a lopsided 129-112 win as 6-point chalk back on October 30. Toronto has regularly stifled 76ers shooters during their recent home dominance, holding Philadelphia to fewer than 99 points on eight occasions.

However, the OVER has been a steady producer in totals betting when these two teams meet in Toronto, going 5-1 over their past six, and 8-4 during the Raptors’ win streak, according to the OddsShark NBA Database.

The Raptors have also been a reliable bet when the 76ers come to town, covering in six of seven clashes while producing a 9-3 against the spread mark over their past 12.

However, Toronto has struggled to produce consistent results at the sportsbooks during their league-leading 20-5 SU start to the season. The club has failed to cover in each of their past three outings, including Monday’s 106-103 loss to the visiting Denver Nuggets as 7-point favourites to fall to 5-8 ATS on home court and 11-13-1 overall through their first 25 outings.

But Toronto’s inability to regularly reward bettors has not shaken its position on the NBA futures. The Raptors continue to sit second only to the Golden State Warriors as a +800 bet on the NBA championship odds, and sit as +180 favourites to claim their first-ever Eastern Conference title.

The Sixers make the trip north of the border looking to build on a four-game SU win streak. Philadelphia closed out a successful three-game homestand with a decisive 103-95 win over the Memphis Grizzlies as 6.5-point chalk on Sunday, marking its third straight ATS win after failing to cover in four straight.

The 76ers have played tight defence during their recent surge, allowing just 94.7 points per game over their past three outings and generating a 3-0 run for the UNDER.

But while Philadelphia has won two straight on the road, they have regularly surrendered big point totals in contests away from Wells Fargo Center, allowing an average of 117 points per game and contributing to a dismal 3-8 ATS record on the road so far this season.
