Raps sign Humphries to four-year deal

TORONTO — The Raptors plan to keep Kris Humphries in a Toronto uniform through the next four seasons.

The Raptors signed the forward Wednesday to a contract extension through the 2010-11 season that worth approximately US$9-million.

Humphries, who was acquired by the Raptors from the Utah Jazz in the 2006 off-season, averaged 7.0 points and 7.1 rebounds over the final 10 games of last season. He scored a season-high 16 points, going a perfect 7-for-7 from the field Feb. 28 at Houston.

The University of Minnesota product has averaged 3.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 11.4 minutes in 189 regular-season games in his three NBA seasons.
