When you’re on an 11-game losing streak to a team and are staring down a 12th-consecutive defeat, you’re going to try just about anything to snap out of that funk.
In the third quarter between the Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls Tuesday night, Serge Ibaka gave a little elbow to Robin Lopez under the Raptors’ basket leading the Bulls centre to take a swing at the Raptors forward, who responded in kind.
Both men were ejected from the game as a result.
After the confrontation, Ibaka was seen holding his right wrist, but stopped doing so after a few moments.
In addition to the ejections, the Bulls’ Nikola Mirotic and Raptors assistant coach Jamaal Magloire were assessed technical fouls for getting into a little shoving match of their own.
