Toronto Raptors forward James Johnson will not play Tuesday against the Dallas Mavericks after spraining his left ankle during pre-game warmups.

In 24 games played this season, the 28-year-old has averaged 5.1 points and 2.2 rebounds per game on 57.8 per cent shooting in 14.3 minutes per.
Johnson is just the latest Raptors forward to go down over the last 30 days, with Jonas Valanciunas and DeMarre Carroll also both out due to injury.
Without Johnson, the Raptors will likely lean more heavily on Terrence Ross at small forward.
If the injury lasts a little while, DeMar DeRozan could also see time at the three, meaning rookie second-round draft pick Norman Powell, who is down with Raptors 905 at the moment, could also see his number called upon more often.
