Toronto Raptors centre Jonas Valanciunas is listed as doubtful ahead of the team’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, according to the NBA’s official injury report.
This is an encouraging diagnosis for Valanciunas considering the Lithuanian has been ruled out ahead of games since dislocating his left thumb against the Golden State Warriors back on Dec. 12.
At the time he suffered the injury, Valanciunas was averaging 12.8 points and 7.2 rebounds in 18.8 minutes per game, serving as Toronto’s primary big man off the bench.
