Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard has been named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team, the league announced on Wednesday.

It’s the fifth All-Defensive Team selection of Leonard’s career – he’s now been selected to the All-Defensive First Team three times and the Second Team twice. Leonard is the first Raptors player in franchise history to be named to an All-Defensive Team.

The 2018-19 All-Defensive First Team includes Utah centre Rudy Gobert, Oklahoma City forward Paul George, Milwaukee star Giannis Antetokounmpo, Boston guard Marcus Smart and Milwaukee guard Eric Bledsoe.

Joining Leonard on the Second Team is New Orleans guard Jrue Holiday, Golden State star Klay Thompson, Philadelphia centre Joel Embiid and Golden State forward Draymond Green.
