Raptors’ Kawhi Leonard out Sunday vs. Pacers; Lowry questionable

Eric Smith spoke with Kawhi Leonard after the Toronto Raptors beat the Milwaukee Bucks. Kawhi was asked about the team’s defence and how they bounced back after the loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard will not play in Sunday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, meaning he has still yet to participate in both ends of a back-to-back set this season.

Raptors coach Nick Nurse told reporters Saturday that he expected Leonard to be available for Sunday’s matchup.

Leonard played 38 minutes in Saturday’s victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, logging 30 points to go along with six rebounds, six assists and five steals. For the season, the 27-year-old is averaging a career-high 27.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.

Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is questionable for Sunday’s contest as he continues to recover from a lingering back injury.
