The Toronto Raptors will be without Kyle Lowry when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday afternoon.
Lowry will miss the matchup due to lower-back soreness, an issue he has been battling much of the season. He was forced to miss six consecutive games towards the end of December due to the issue, but was able to suit up for every game since returning to the lineup on Jan. 6 against the Indiana Pacers.
The Toronto Raptors are 7-4 this season in games he does not play, compared to 30-12 in games in which he does.
Through 42 games played this season, Lowry has averaged just over 14 points and a career-best 9.2 assists per game. In his absence, both Fred VanVleet and Delon Wright will likely pick up more playing time.
