Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse says forward OG Anunoby is not considered close to a return from an emergency appendectomy.
Anunoby underwent the procedure on April 11, two days before the Raptors played Game 1 of their first-round series against the Orlando Magic.
The 21-year-old wasn’t given a timeline to return when the surgery was first announced.
In 67 games in his sophomore season, Anunoby averaged 7.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 20.2 minutes per game.
