Raptors’ Patrick McCaw out for Game 1 vs. Bucks for personal reasons

Eric Smith caught up with Raptors centre Marc Gasol ahead of Eastern Conference Finals Game 1 vs. the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Toronto Raptors will be without Patrick McCaw for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday due to personal reasons.

McCaw, 23, averaged 2.7 points and 13.2 minutes over 26 regular season games after being acquired from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He’s seen his chances to contribute shrink considerably since head coach Nick Nurse went with a more condensed rotation for the post-season.

The shooting guard has only played 36 minutes and taken three shots (all misses) entering the East Finals.

Toronto also announced centre Chris Boucher will be available for Game 1 after dealing with back spasms on Tuesday.
