Toronto Raptors guard Patrick McCaw will return to the lineup Friday for Game 3 of Toronto’s first-round playoff series against the Orlando Magic, head coach Nick Nurse told reporters pre-game.

McCaw has been out since March 30 with a thumb injury. In 26 games played with the Raptors this season, the 23-year-old shot 44.4 per cent from the field and averaged a little over 13 minutes per game.

Nurse told reporters in Orlando that he’d like to use McCaw during Friday’s game, meaning Jodie Meeks might be bumped out of the playoff rotation, unless the Raptors coach decides to go 10 deep.

The Raptors enter Game 3 against the Magic with their series tied 1-1.
