After missing the last month of action with a left shoulder injury, Norman Powell has been cleared to make his return to the Toronto Raptors lineup.
Powell’s injury was officially listed as a left shoulder subluxation, or partial dislocation of the shoulder. He sustained the injury during the second quarter of a Nov. 5 game against the Utah Jazz.
Throughout 11 games played so far this season he has averaged 5.0 points on 46 per cent shooting from the field as well as 2.0 rebounds per game.
In other Raptors injury news, Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, and Danny Green all practised Tuesday — with Green wearing protective goggles after being poked in the eye during Sunday’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
No definitive decision on their availability for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers has been made at this time, but all three are expected to play.
Serge Ibaka’s availability on the other hand is questionable due to swelling in his knee, while Kyle Lowry also remains questionable with a thigh injury.
