Raptors’ pre-season schedule opens in Japan vs. new-look Rockets

Former President and CEO of Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment Tim Leiweke joined Prime Time Sports to discuss the impact of the Toronto Raptors NBA championship and despite departure of Kawhi Leonard, Raptors will stay competitive.

The Toronto Raptors will unofficially begin their 2019-20 season in Japan.

Announced Friday, the Raptors will play the first two of their four exhibition contests against the new-look Houston Rockets at Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan on Oct. 8 and 10, respectively, as part of the NBA Japan Games 2019.
