The Toronto Raptors will be sitting most of their starters for Sunday’s pre-season game against the Chicago Bulls. Head coach Nick Nurse confirms that Kyle Lowry, Serge Ibaka, Norman Powell, Pascal Siakam, Marc Gasol and Fred VanVleet won’t be in the lineup.

Lowry was questionable heading into Sunday’s exhibition game as he continues to rehab from an operation to repair damaged ligaments in his left thumb earlier this summer. He missed both of the Raptors’ games in Japan against the Houston Rockets.

Gasol was already ruled out heading into the game as the team decided to rest the Spaniard after suiting up in the second half of the team’s Japan series, and representing Spain at the FIBA World Cup.

Tipoff between the Raptors and Bulls is set for 6 p.m. ET at Scotiabank Arena. They will finish their exhibition schedule on the road against the Brooklyn Nets on Oct. 18 before kicking off the regular season at home against the New Orleans Pelicans.
