The Toronto Raptors are getting some reinforcements.
Shooting guard Norm Powell and star forward Pascal Siakam are expected to make their returns to the lineup and start against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.
Both have been sidelined since the Raptors’ win vs. the Detroit Pistons on Dec. 18.
Powell was recovering from the subluxation of his left shoulder, while Siakam injured his groin.
Siakam, 25, who won last year’s Most Improved Player Award, is averaging 25.1 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists on 45.7 per cent shooting from the field and 39.2 per cent from three.
Powell, 26, has put up 14.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.7 helpers, along with a 49.3 field goal percentage and 38.9 per cent shooting from beyond the arc.
