There’s only so many things one can write about Stephen Curry’s step-back jumper and how his Golden State Warroirs match up against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
So, as the NBA Finals approach after a full week without basketball, we’d like to take a trip down memory lane to that time Curry was featured in a rap video when he attended Davidson in college.
This one definitely falls under the “Wayback Wednesday” category.
Steve Rossiter, a college teammate of Curry’s who was also featured in the video, recently reminisced about the project in a New York Times article.
“Davidson is kind of a quirky place,” Rossiter said. “That’s one of the reasons [Curry] fit in so well there.”
Who knows, if the Warriors beat the Cavs to win their first title since 1975 maybe Curry will dust off his rap skills during his team’s parade like Shaq did in 2001?
