The Philadelphia 76ers have acquired guard Alec Burks and forward Glenn Robinson III from the Golden State Warriors, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
In exchange, the Warriors receive a trio of second-round picks from the 76ers.
Burks, 28, has enjoyed a strong season for the Warriors, averaging 16.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. The former lottery pick of the Utah Jazz is shooting a solid 38 per cent from three-point range.
Robinson, 26, is averaging 12.9 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 40 per cent from beyond the arc.
Philadelphia has underachieved this season, sitting sixth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 31-20. Adding Burks and Robinson should help the team shore up its bench as it attempts to move up the standings.
