The Atlanta Hawks have waived guard Marco Belinelli, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Belinelli will become a free agent in 48 hours if he goes unclaimed.
The 31-year-old guard is averaging 11.4 points per game on 41 per cent shooting in 52 games this season for the 17-39 Hawks. Belinelli is also shooting over 37 per cent from beyond the three-point line.
