The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a trade big-man Thon Maker to the Detroit Pistons for Stanley Johnson, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Through 48 games played this year, most of them coming off the bench, Johnson has averaged 7.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 38 per cent from the field. Originally drafted by the Pistons with the eighth overall pick in 2015, Johnson’s entry-level contract expires in 2020.
Maker, on the other hand, has averaged 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game for the Bucks. He was the 10th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft.
