The Orlando Magic have re-signed Canadian big man Khem Birch to a two-year, $6-million contract, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting.
Birch was a restricted free agent and returns to a Magic team that signed him in 2017. The 26-year-old began his professional career in the NBA D League with the Sioux Falls Skyforce before departing for Europe where he played in Turkey and Greece.
The Montreal, Que., native averaged 4.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in a sparse 12.9 minutes per game last season in 50 games played for Orlando.
