Cleveland, Sacramento and Houston are nearing completion of a three-team trade that will send Brandon Knight, Marquise Chriss and a lottery protected first-round pick (from Houston) to the Cavaliers, Alec Burks to the Kings, and Iman Shumpert to the Rockets, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Wojnarowski later reported that Canadian Nik Stauskas and Wade Baldwin (recently acquired in a Cavs trade with the Portland Trail Blazers) will also make their way to Houston as part of the deal.

Just over a week ago, Chriss requested either more playing time or a trade from the Suns and it appears he has his wish. The Cavaliers are all-in on acquiring assets, now having acquired seven draft picks — in addition to players — in separate trades involving Rodney Hood, Kyle Korver, Sam Dekker, George Hill and Alec Burks.
Houston has struggled to replace the void left by Trevor Ariza and Shumpert is a player with championship experience from his time playing with LeBron James and the Cavs. They also save about $6.1 million in tax payments this season and get off the $15.6 million Knight is owed next season.
Stauskas looked to be figuring things out playing for a winning organization in the Blazers and will likely be relieved to move on quite quickly from the Cavs to the Rockets.
The Kings acquire a scoring option off the bench in Burks that could figure into the rotation as they look to make a playoff push.
