Centre Al Horford has declined the $30.1M option on his 2019-20 deal with the Boston Celtics and will become an unrestricted free agent, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Tuesday.

Wojnarowski added that the 33-year-old big man, who has spent the past three seasons in Boston, and the Celtics are both interested in coming to terms on a new contract in July.

Horford averaged 13.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks on 53.5 shooting from the field in 68 games for the Celtics last season, his 12th in the league.

The third-overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft has made five all-star teams over the course of his career.
