Former NBA MVP Derrick Rose will sign a two-year, $15-million deal with the Detroit Pistons, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting.
Rose spent the last two seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Last season, he averaged 18 points per game on 48.2 per cent shooting in 51 games played primarily as a role player coming off the bench.
The 30 year-old was named league MVP in 2011 — just his third season in the NBA — with the Chicago Bulls.
He joins a Pistons team that finished 41-41 and reached the post-season for the first time since 2016.
