The Atlanta Hawks have acquired the fourth-overall pick in Thursday’s draft from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for picks No. 8, 17 and 35, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Pelicans are also reportedly dealing Solomon Hill, the No. 57 pick and a future second-round pick to Atlanta. Additionally, the Hawks are sending a “heavily protected” 2020 first-rounder to Cleveland as part of the deal.
Atlanta acquires the pick – which the Pelicans received from the Los Angeles Lakers in the Anthony Davis blockbuster – in pursuit of Virginia forward De’Andre Hunter.
