The Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks swapped the Nos. 3 and 5 picks at the 2018 NBA Draft, sending Slovenian guard Luka Doncic to the Mavericks and Oklahoma’s Trae Young to the Hawks.

No other players were involved in the deal.
Doncic is a 19-year-old Slovenian who has amassed a ton of success playing in Europe, including a EuroLeague MVP and Euroleague championship with Real Madrid this past season. In 33 games played with the Spanish sporting giant, Doncic averaged 22.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game on 45.1 per cent shooting.
Young was a freshman sensation with Oklahoma last season, earning Big 12 Freshman of the Year honours while leading the country in scoring and assists with averages of 27.4 and 8.7, respectively.
