Free agent Iman Shumpert is signing with the Brooklyn Nets, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Wojnarowski adds that the Nets have a 16th roster spot until the end of the Wilson Chandler suspension, which will come in mid-December.
The move adds depth for Brooklyn, who are dealing with injuries to various players, including Kevin Durant, Caris LeVert and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot.
Shumpert was traded from the Sacramento Kings to the Houston Rockets last season, and averaged 7.5 points on 37.4 per cent shooting for 2018-19. He has yet to play a single game during the present campaign.
