LATEST: The Knicks are reportedly finalizing a deal to send Kristaps Porzingis to the Mavericks.

The NBA is never boring.

With the Los Angeles Lakers’ pursuit of Anthony Davis heating up, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Toronto Raptors are ready to move their interests in another direction.

According to Wojnarowski, the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs are also expected to be in the mix, among other teams.

Earlier, it was reported that the New York Knicks are expected to begin discussions on moving star power forward Kristaps Porzingis ahead of the Feb. 7 NBA trade deadline, per Wojnarowksi.

News of the Knicks’ decision to explore parting ways with the 23-year-old comes after a meeting between both parties in which Porzingis gave the impression that he prefers to be traded as opposed to staying in the Big Apple, citing concerns of the culture the team was building.

Porzingis, who hasn’t played yet this season while recovering from an ACL injury, is set to become a restricted free agent this summer.

The Latvian averaged 22.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 39.5 per cent shooting from three-point range over 48 games in 2017-18.
