New York Knicks and New York Rangers owner James Dolan has recovered from COVID-19, a Knicks’ spokesperson confirmed to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Additionally, Dolan has donated his blood plasma to research for treatments for the new coronavirus.
The Madison Square Garden Company announced Dolan had tested positive on March 28 but in that announcement said the 64-year-old was “experiencing little to no symptoms.”
The NBA season shutdown on March 11 after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. According to the World Health Organization, there are have been 776,907 positive cases of COVID-19 in the United States and 37,602 deaths.
