The New York Knicks and Houston Rockets are discussing trade scenarios that would land star forward Carmelo Anthony in Houston, reports ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. No agreement is imminent.

In order for any deal to go through, Anthony would have to waive his no-trade clause. It has previously been reported he would do so to join either Houston or the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Anthony is slated to make $26.24 million in 2017-18 and $27.9 million the following year. He was named an all-star for the 10th time a season ago and finished the campaign averaging 22.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

The Rockets have been busy in the early stages of the off-season, bringing in point guard Chris Paul in a sign-and-trade with the Los Angeles Clippers before signing James Harden to a record contract extension.
