The Los Angeles Lakers have been calling the New Orleans Pelicans about Anthony Davis, but they’re going to have to up their offers if they want to land the superstar big man.

Los Angeles offered the Pelicans a package of Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Rajon Rondo, Michael Beasley and a first-round pick, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Pelicans haven’t considered the offers worthy of a response or countering, Wojnarowski reports.

Davis sent shockwaves through the basketball world Monday when he requested a trade out of New Orleans. The Pelicans do not feel pressured to move their star ahead of the Feb. 7 trade deadline.
