The Los Angeles Lakers got some good news Monday. According to ESPN Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, an MRI performed on Anthony Davis‘ thumb came back clean.
Davis left Saturday’s pre-season game against the Brooklyn Nets — part of the NBA’s China Games series — with what the team initially diagnosed as a sprained right thumb. Davis has been sidelined by injury several times over the course of his career, and his absence Saturday tested the Lakers’ lack of depth in the exhibition loss.
