The NBA has made further ground on making its league a truly global experience.

Per Marc Stein of the New York Times, Mexico City will be home to an NBA G League franchise as soon as next year.

The Brooklyn Nets are calling Mexico City home for their next two games, hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.

The experiment began in January with the Phoenix Suns playing both the Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs.
