With the NBA season on hiatus, players are looking for other ways to keep fans entertained.

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports on Monday, the league is planning a players-only NBA 2K tournament that could start as early as Friday.

On Tuesday, Haynes reported that stars Kevin Durant, Andre Drummond and Donovan Mitchell will participate in the tournament. The tournament bracket seeded the players by their 2K ranking, followed by their tenure in the league.

Match-ups for the players-only tournament include Durant against Derrick Jones Jr., Drummond vs. Demarcus Cousins and Mitchell taking on Rui Hachimura.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, players like Luka Doncic, Devin Booker, Josh Hart, Alex Caruso, Patrick Beverley, and Trae Young have been playing video games and setting up live Twitch streams to pass the time.
