The Indiana Pacers have acquired small forward T.J. Warren and the No. 32 pick in the 2019 draft from the Phoenix Suns in exchange for cash considerations, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Warren battled through injuries last season, appearing in 43 games with Phoenix. When healthy, the swingman was productive with averages of 18 points and four rebounds in 31.6 minutes.

The North Carolina State product showed significant improvement from beyond the arc last season, converting 42.8 of his long-range attempts last season. For context, even after his strong shooting 2018-19 campaign, Warren is still only a 34 per cent three-point shooter for his career.

The Suns shipping Warren to the Pacers allows Phoenix to move on from the $35 million Warren is owed over the next three remaining years of his contract.
