Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo could be ready to make his return to the NBA in February, or “perhaps as soon as January,” according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Oladipo has yet to play this season after suffering a ruptured right-quad tendon on Jan. 23 against the Toronto Raptors.

Pacers president Kevin Pritchard told reporters in June that he expected Oladipo to be back in December or January. He’s been working out with the Pacers in the last few weeks, according to Wojnarowski.

The 27-year-old guard was injured in a collision with Pascal Siakam as the Raptors forward attempted a layup.

Oladipo, a two-time All-Star and Most Improved Player in 2017-18, has averaged 21.7 points, 4.6 assists and 5.3 rebounds along with 2.1 steals per game over his two seasons with the Pacers. He was selected to the All-NBA Defensive team in 2018.
