Report: Pistons looking to further conversation with Dwane Casey

During Tim and Sid the duo talked to Chris Mannix about Dwane Casey's future and if taking the Detroit Pistons’ job is a good thing for his career. As well, where the Toronto Raptors should be looking for their next head coach.

The Detroit Pistons are looking to go further with Dwane Casey in their process of hiring a new head coach according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

After what can only be presumed to be a successful first meeting, the report also indicated that the Pistons are looking to do the same with current Michigan head coach John Beilien.

Casey led the Toronto Raptors to their best regular season in franchise history, finishing with 59 wins before defeating the Washington Wizards in the first round of the playoffs. His team then came undone against the Cleveland Cavaliers for a third straight season, getting swept out of the playoffs in the Eastern Conference semifinal.

Stan Van Gundy, the former Pistons coach, parted ways with the team on May 7.
