The Toronto Raptors have come to an agreement with D.J. Augustin on a one-year, $1.26-million deal, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Raptors have been searching for a backup point guard to play behind Kyle Lowry next season having signed Dwight Buycks to add depth at the position on Tuesday.
Augustin spent last season with the Pacers, averaging 4.7 points and 2.2 assists in 78 appearances.
Originally drafted by the Bobcats with the ninth pick in the 2009 NBA entry draft, he spent four seasons in Charlotte before moving to Indiana. He recorded a career-high 14.4 points per game during the 2010-11 season.
