The Toronto Raptors may have a new look in 2021, according to Chris Creamer of Sportslogos.net.
Creamer reports that the Raptors are planning to get rid of their current home uniform design (white with black and red accents) and tweak their primary logo following the end of the 2019-20 season.

Details about the new uniform have not been released yet, but Creamer says Toronto will likely use a chevron-style design for their primary uniform next season, similar to the team’s “Earned Edition” uniforms (red and white “North”) worn during the 2018-19 season.
Creamer suggests that if this design was used as their full-time uniform, the jersey may say “Raptors” or “Toronto” instead of “North.”
The Raptors seemed to really enjoy wearing their red “North” alternate uniforms – they even opted to wear them during their title-clinching game against the Golden State Warriors instead of their white home uniforms. The chevron-style design was also used on the team’s championship rings for the main element.

According to Creamer, Toronto was unable to wear the red “North” jerseys during the 2019-20 season due to NBA uniform rules.
The Raptors have been using a chevron-style design since 1999. Chevron stripes first appeared on the sides of the Raptors’ purple, black and red uniforms, which were used for four seasons until 2002-03.
Toronto’s current uniform was created for the 2015-16 season after the Raptors re-designed its logo and added gold as a team colour. The chevron stripes remained on the re-designed 2015-16 uniform, but they were changed to point up as a reference to the team’s new “We The North” branding.
For the 2017-18 season, the chevron design was moved to the front with “North” written inside for a black and gold “City Edition” jersey. The Raptors also used a white version of the same design during the 2018-19 season.
Creamer reports that plans for the new uniform were created before the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning that the new uniform could change or be delayed as a result.
