The Chicago Bulls have started a process to hire a top executive with full authority on basketball decisions, with Toronto Raptors general manager Bobby Webster listed as a candidate, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The Bulls also plan to seek permission to interview Denver Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas, among others.
Interviews, which will be done electronically, will begin next week, per Wojnarowski.
Webster has been with the Raptors since 2013 in a variety of roles. He was appointed as general manager in June 2017 and helped construct the roster that guided Toronto to its first NBA title in 2019.
