Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry “remains committed on USA roster” for the FIBA World Cup despite recently undergoing surgery on his left thumb, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Charania is also reporting Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love is expected to withdraw from Team USA’s training camp.

Lowry injured his thumb in Game 7 of the second-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers, but played through the injury to help the Raptors to their first NBA title. The team announced Lowry’s surgery last week.

Love is the latest star to withdraw from the U.S. camp, joining the likes of James Harden, Anthony Davis, Zion Williamson, Damian Lillard and DeMar DeRozan.

The FIBA World Cup runs from Aug. 31 to Sept. 15 in China.
