Report: Raptors linked to Faried, Young in trade talks

Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried is the latest player rumoured to be linked to the Raptors in trade talks.

According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, the Toronto Raptors have had “exploratory discussions” with the Denver Nuggets regarding Kenneth Faried and the Brooklyn Nets about Thaddeus Young. This comes after the team had already been linked to the Phoenix Suns regarding Markieff Morris and P.J. Tucker.

The Raptors have four first round draft selections over the next two years and GM Masai Ujiri has publicly stated he would be willing to leverage those picks to acquire talent to help the Raptors win now. If a deal is to be made, it’s expected to be for a forward.
