In their first move of the post-Kawhi Leonard era, the Toronto Raptors have reportedly agreed to sign forward Stanley Johnson to a two-year, $7.5-million contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Free agent Stanley Johnson has agreed to a two-year, $7.5M deal with the Toronto Raptors, with a player option in the second season, agent Nima Namakian of BDA Sports tells @TheAthleticNBA@Stadium.
Charania adds that the second year of Johnson’s deal includes a player option.
In 66 games with the Detroit Pistons and New Orleans Pelicans last season, Johnson averaged 6.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 18.3 minutes per game.
Johnson was drafted with the eighth overall-selection by the Pistons in the 2015 draft.
