The Toronto Raptors have reportedly signed guard Jodie Meeks for the remainder of the season, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Meeks was previously signed by the Raptors to a 10-day contract on Feb. 20. The 31-year-old appeared in two games with Toronto, averaging 7.5 points on 37.5 per cent shooting from three-point range in 12 minutes per contest.
The veteran figures to slide in behind Patrick McCaw on the Raptors’ depth chart going forward.
Over the course of his 10-year career, the University of Kentucky alumni has knocked down 37.2 per cent of his threes on nearly four attempts from long range per game.
Meeks career-best season was in 2013-14 with the Los Angeles Lakers, when he averaged 15.7 points on 40.1 per cent shooting from beyond the arc.
