Report: Raptors sign undrafted Canadian Lindell Wigginton

The Toronto Raptors have signed Nova Scotia native Lindell Wigginton, according to a report from NBA writer Alex Kennedy.

Wigginton, who hails from Dartmouth and spent the past two years at Iowa State, went undrafted Thursday night. In 56 Big 12 games, the guard averaged 15.3 points and 2.5 assists per game.

This has been a strong year for Canadian basketball prospects — a record six Canucks were selected in the draft, with four going in the first round. Several more are being extended Summer League invites on Friday:

Earlier on Friday, it was reported that the Raptors signed another undrafted player in Sagaba Konate out of West Virginia.
