Point guard Ricky Rubio has reportedly agreed to a three-year, $51-million deal with the Phoenix Suns, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Rubio spent the last two seasons with the Utah Jazz, where he averaged 12.9 points and 5.7 assists.

The Spaniard is set to join a young Phoenix team that already features 22-year-old guard Devin Booker and 20-year-old centre Deandre Ayton, the No. 1 overall pick from the 2018 draft.

Rubio was selected with the fifth-overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He went on to play the first six seasons of his career in Minnesota before joining the Jazz in a July 2017 trade.
