The San Antonio Spurs and Rudy Gay have reached an agreement on a two-year, $32-million contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The swingman thrived as a secondary scorer with the Spurs in the past two seasons, hitting 49 per cent of his field goals since joining the Spurs ahead of the 2017-18 season.
Gay, 32, averaged 13.7 points and 6.8 rebounds in 69 games with the Spurs last season.
In 879 career games, the 15-year NBA veteran has averaged 17.6 points and 5.9 rebounds, playing for four teams since breaking into the league, including the Toronto Raptors.
