The Cleveland Cavaliers are “preparing for the strong possibility” all-star Kevin Love will be sidelined at least one month with a left toe injury, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst and Adrian Wojnarowski.

Love has been hampered by the injury since the pre-season, and rest would be the solution. The 30-year-old signed four-year, $120 million contract with Cleveland this summer.

It’s been tough sledding for the reigning Eastern Conference champions to start the year. At 0-6, the Cavaliers are the only remaining winless team league-wide. Cleveland fired coach Tyronn Lue on Sunday, replacing him on an interim basis with assistant Larry Drew.
