The Minnesota Timberwolves have acquired the No. 6 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft from the Phoenix Suns in exchange for the 11th-overall selection and forward Dario Saric, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting.
According to Wojnarowski, the Timberwolves had tried to move up as high as No. 4, but ended up jumping to No. 6.
Saric, 25, was traded mid-season to Minnesota from the Philadelphia 76ers as part of the Jimmy Butler blockbuster.
In 68 games played with the Timberwolves this season, Saric averaged 10.5 points and shot 38.3 per cent from deep.
